Late in the Evening

John Williams is known for some truly iconic soundtrack music. But none compares to the beautiful music created for Sabrina. While the film is more interesting than you'd imagine- how could it not be with Harrison Ford, Julia Ormond, and Greg Kinnear- and the photography equally great, it is the music that is the standout. Perfect late night on the patio fare. One of our enduring favorites.

My Favorite Disney Park Photos: Disneyland's Indiana Jones Adventure

The Indiana Jones Adventure. What can be said that hasn't been already told? It's an incredible "E Ticket" attraction that packs them in 25 plus years after its debut. I was there opening weekend as part of a performance reward during my years with AT&T, the attraction's sponsor.

This photograph was taken just a few years ago. I'd say its pretty stunning- and it captures all the mystery and thrill of what happens when something goes wrong inside a temple full of surprises. Who would have thought an angry deity, rats, bugs, and snakes- why does it have to be snakes?- would form the basis for this world class ride.

As with the Jungle Cruise, imitators have come and gone, but none, not even Universal Orlando's Mummy attraction, comes close.

New Star Wars:Galaxy's Edge Art?

Here's it is. This is what seems to be a brand new piece of very impressive Star Wars Land Disney Imagineering concept art - at least to me. (It's huge blown up full size!) I did not see this on any television special, but it's branded ABC. The more I see, the most impressed I am with this project. It should be a spectacular experience at both Disneyland and Disney's Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World

5th Tale for Indiana Jones

Harrison Ford and Steven Spielberg have announced their intention to reunite for a 5th Indiana Jones film! Good news for those of us who love the hero. With a release date of 2019, fans of the franchise will rejoice... as long as George Lucas doesn't screw up this film as he did the last one.

There are many unused ideas for future attractions.

Dare I say that this gives Disney suits an Imagineers time to come up with some great attractions for Disney's Hollywood Studios? While the stunt show is great, it could use a refresh. And theme park fans have been asking for a troop transport adventure for more than 25 years now. I'd say its time, wouldn't you?

The World Awaits the Force Awakens

One movie house at a time. Sold out theaters and waiting in line to snag a seat. Here it comes! It's like the beginning of the series all over again. Will it be worth the wait?

42 Hits a Home Run

Generally, I am not a big fan of sports hero stories, although I have succumbed at times to the hoopla surrounding a particularly good movie. 42 stands among the best.

Harrison Ford - I am a huge fan- has never been better, redeeming himself for making Indiana Jones 4 and that awful script. This true life "buddy" movie of sorts belongs to newcomer Chadwick Boseman. He is incredible as baseball's Jackie Robinson

Everyone knows the story about how the two men partnered to break the color barrier in Major League Baseball. What they don't know is what lies beneath- and that is what gives this film its power. Go see it- worth the money, the time, and the emotional energy.

Hero of the Day

Indiana Jones remains an American hero of epic proportions in the U.S.A. The movie is not a big critical success but still a hit. $300 plus million and still going- and alot more fun than The Dark Knight.

Ok, So We're Enchanted, Now What?

Yes, Enchanted is a very good film- and everyone associated with it should be proud.

As I watched it last night with my wife and youngest daughter, it was an enjoyable couple of hours. (And the "Making of" features alone are worth the price of the disc. Make sure you see this fun flick.) I love animation as much as anyone, then it hit me: What about us guys, Disney?

There are alot of good looking upcoming features, but mostly all geared toward women and children. Even Pirates 4 is up in the air. So, what about us men? Calling Indiana Jones! May 22 can't come fast enough.
