Karen and Richard Carpenter, along with parents Harold and Agnes, send their Christmas greetings! Back in 1972, of course. Beloved song Merry Christmas, Darling had become a perpetual hit beginning in 1970, but the duo's beloved Christmas Portrait was not even close to being completed. A close look will reveal the photo is from October of 1972. Still early in their career, they'd only just begun.
