It's still. It's empty- and it's gorgeous. By day, Disney's Animal Kingdom is one of the most beautiful theme parks. The lush green jungle of vegetation against the natural element appearance of the buildings beckons guests to explore. Of course, all the water found in the park adds a serenity that's magical. Toss in the centerpiece Tree of Life, some of Walt Disney World's strongest "E Ticket" attractions, and you've got a world class park. Those talented Imagineers under Joe Rohde built a masterpiece.
This evening shot of an empty park and Expedition: Everest in the moonlight makes me want to jump on a plane and see it all again. But for now, it's not to be. Not yet, at least.
