So California Adventure is 19 years old today? Wow! I remember visiting the park and just being disappointed. That was the best word I could think of. After a couple of hours- and paying full price for the ticket- we went to Guest Relations. They easily offered to send us over to Disneyland for no extra cost. Done. Quickly.Disneyland? Never been disappointed in any visit there! It's beloved and iconic for a reason. Walt Disney himself made sure that guests got more than they bargained for! Gotta love him for that. Above is a piece of concept art for the castle. Sure, Disneyland has a much smaller castle- currently the smallest of all- but it's still charming. Brings out a sentimental response to anyone who went to the California parks before there were any others.
