For those of you long time readers, it will come as no surprise that I find Disneyland Paris to be the most beautiful Magic Kingdom of them all! It is all the more special at Christmastime when millions of lights and special touches create a true winter wonderland!
Imagineer Tony Baxter brought out the best of the best to work on The Walt Disney Company's only European park- and what a truly magnificent piece of art they created. Elegant yet charming, vast yet intimate, full of layers of artistic detail without being stuffy and unapproachable. Yes, all that can be achieved without being garish.
My two photos above only begin to scratch the surface. The blog's full of posts on this place. For a small taste, begin here. If you're interested in more of a deluxe full course, go here. for something more philosophical, consider my post on The Theme Park as Art.
Of course, it wouldn't truly be Christmas without stopping to reflect on the greatest gift ever given- God in the Flesh, Jesus Christ, come to earth for the payment of the sins of man! Imagine the gift of someone else dying in your place- that's what He did. Truly the most magical gift of all and the only one that lasts.
