Here's a great little card game to enjoy over the Christmas holiday. Codenames. It's a simple concept, but it takes a very intriguing twist as you play. I won't give this game of spying away, but let me say it certainly reveals how well you know the other players and how they think. (Plus, the graphics are pretty cool!)

First Settlers, Now Ticket to Ride

Wow- Ticket to Ride has to be one of the catchiest, most fun, and addictive games since Settlers of Catan! The strategy seems to change with every move. It seems so innocent, so easy- until someone unknowingly blocks your route! Check this game out. It is worth the money. It will be a night of family fun for all ages. The Beatles or Carpenters title song not included...

Maddening and Addicting

Ever have a love / hate relationship with someone or something? That's exactly how I feel about this game, Settlers of Catan. the whole experience seems like one exercise in futility, and then just a moment or two later, you find yourself strategically planning your next series of moves. Why I didn't discover this game ealier, I do not know. Love it! Hate it! Play it!
