Coffee Wisdom

Loved this sign in a coffee shop far away from home...

Just Maybe

Always on the hunt for a new coffee shop for those days I just have to get out of the home office. Could this be it? We shall see.

Dark Roast Italian Style

During my recent trip overseas, I fell in love with this ad for LavAzza Italian Espresso. Taken in Venice- and perhaps during its famous flood season- this ad captures the glamour and elegance of this most unique city. Enticing!

Your Morning Cup of Joe

Not a guy who happens to think that Starbucks Coffee is swill, but it is still a far cry from others, both good and bad. The newest blend, Blonde, seems to have a nice flavor and decent scent. It's no Casi Ceilo, one of my favorites, but its not bitter like every drink I seem to have at Peet's Coffee. Granted Caribou Coffee is still my favorite overall. Consistently good, even black. Just wish there were mores stores around in metro Denver!

Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is

The price of my cup of coffee is normally $1.89- Panera Bread's unlimited refill (and wonderful) Hazelnut blend. My stops at Starbucks or Caribou cost more. But it can buy even more than satisfying my need for liquid caffeine.

For the price of my daily coffee, my wife and I also provide almost 2 days worth of medical care, clothing and shelter to our Compassion International child in Bolivia! This Sunday is Compassion Sunday, when this agency focuses on gaining additional folks who are willing to literally "Put Their Money Where Their Mouth Is." (That's my saying, not theirs.)

Please check out the agency and consider making a difference that lasts longer than the time it takes to drink your favorite brew (or the length of your next trip to Disney). You'll be glad you did. Thanks.
