Don't Ever Forget September 11, 2001

Twenty Five, yes 25 years ago today, the United States of America suffered a great tragedy when terrorists attacked both New York City and the Federal Government buildings. Yet, heroes emerged as they always do when crisis hits. Remember that and honor all the first responders. This photo by Ted S. Warren captures an image of the event that's hard to forget.

It may be photographer Richard Drew's "Falling Man" photo that is the most remembered. It is a powerful but important image that should not be erased from history. If it serves to remind us all of thew cost of human lives when we go encounter or engage in evil, it is worth it. Lord Jesus, save us from ourselves!

Never Forget the Attack on America This Day!

It was a day of great heroism in the face of incredible cowardice. Like the whole world, I watched the events unfold. Radical Islam extremists decided to attack us on September 11, 2001. We as a nation lost so much, but what did we gain? We as a people rallied together. People of all faiths, political preferences, and cultural backgrounds. We came together to grieve together and pray together and to help together. Let us remember this day.

Let us not just talk but continue to pray for our nation and for our world. The senseless murder of Charlie Kirk and other political officials and influencers as well as ordinary citizens is not acceptable. We are better than that! Or are we? Shooting at school aged kids!?!?  God have mercy on us.

But back to today, 9/11. We should remember the sacrifices of those serving, the loss of family and friends. Let us honor those who gave their lives. Let us work together to preserve our God-given freedoms. Lord Jesus, have mercy on us and do not judge us according to what our sins deserve- either as a nation or as an individuals!

Let Us Always Remember, and Let Us Put Our Hope in God Almighty

Please remember this day. Don't remember just the evil events, though. Yes, it was a day of tragedy, but it was also a day for heroes! Big, big heroes. When radical Islamists decided to attack the United States of America on our land on this day in 2001, we as an American people came together as one. For a time, we were all Americans first before we were anything else.

Now, let us gather together now in prayer for our nation and to think again of the sacrifices made. There was a loss of family and friends because of heroic acts on behalf of those who loved this country more than their own lives. Let us preserve our freedoms and not hand them over to other nations to destroy or politicians who will remove what made this country great. Let us honor God most of all, and Praise His Name spite of all the evil around us and evil done against us.
