Clean, crisp lines and stunning purity of form brings a Tomorrowland that impresses and invites guests of all ages to experience the future. At Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom, what they found at the opening in 1971 was a partially finished project. Beloved fan favorite If You Had Wings wouldn't be complete for several more months, Space Mountain, the WEDWAY Peoplemover, Star Jets, and Carousel of Progress were on the boards and planned for the future, but the guests just kept on coming. In contrast to Disneyland, park visitors could look beyond the park and see a futuristic Contemporary Resort in the distance and nothing but trees, trees, and more trees. A constant reminder that they were worlds away from the busyness of Orange County California or even Orange County, Florida.
