Blast from the Past at Disney's Pleasure Island

With Disney Springs now a present day reality, I wanted to take a brief look back at Pleasure Island. 

Concept art for the island is very difficult to find!  There are so few pieces that have made it out of Imagineering. This is a scene of the XZFR Rockin' Rollerdrome by Tim Delaney. It was only open for a very brief period of time, but it was an idea quite new for Disney. We saw it first in in 1989, when our family was looking for something fun after visiting the all new Disney-MGM Studios.
