First Snow of the Year

This one is specifically for my family in warmer regions who think it snows here in Colorado from October through April nonstop. They hear about our 65 degree ways in November and December and even sometimes later in January, but they tend to forget it. Me, too, for that matter! So, here it is on the 19th of the month, and our first real snow of the year. I must be getting acclimated. I'd say it's about time.

Our Late White Christmas

Our first snow of December arrived early this morning. It's not a White Christmas but a few days late. That's ok, I can wait. This is Colorado, and there's always more coming.
 

Ugh

Snow, gray skies, and a general "Blah" blankets the city. Ugh! Is it over yet? Spring is on the way, isn't it?

C'mon, It's MAY!

There are many things I like about living in Colorado. This is not one of them!

Winter on the Way

Tomorrow's forecast calls for lots of snow by midday. Certainly not my favorite time of year, and I'd be lying if I tried to convince otherwise. But...the day after can look rather beautiful. I will try to enjoy it this year. Try, being the operative word!

First Snowfall

First snowfall of the year. Yes, really. Tomorrow, it could be 75 degrees. Surprises me every year, everytime. Welcome to Colorado!
