With Tom Hanks set to star in "Sully", the film is released Friday, there is much interest in what has happened to the passengers and the pilot of the famous Hudson River Crash.
Two of the passengers, Chris Rooney and Karin (Hill) Rooney happen to be good friends of mine. In fact, their story is now presented in greater detail in an article in the UK Daily Mail and the New York Post. Stories in People magazine are forthcoming as well.
These are great folks, and their story is filled with struggle but triumph. Well worth a read. (On a personal note, I was honored to be asked to officiate at their Colorado wedding!)
