Fun on the Farm

The Disney Parks aren't the only place to celebrate Fall! Colorado like many states, is filled with great locations to enjoy the sun and the harvest with your family. Anderson Farms is one of the best!

Pumpkin Patch #2

Next day, another pumpkin patch with our youngest daughter and her family. Still lots of fun on day two! The setting was a little bigger- Anderson Farms- and it was just as much fun for everyone involved.

This little granddaughter is no less a miracle than my red-haired grandson from the previous post. (And aren't all kids really miracles anyway?) During her pregnancy with this child, my daughter suffered a stroke early on, perhaps at two months and almost died. She had to go on special blood thinners two to three shots a day. Regular thinners would have caused her to lose the baby.

Not only did my daughter live, but our little granddaughter was born six months later. She's still a little feather- less than 1 percentile in growth and height, but she is fully normal and progressing well. Again, God proves himself personal and faithful.
I am so thankful!

Fun at Anderson Farms

It's not a day at Disneyland, but for some good, old fashioned fun in Denver, Colorado, it's hard to beat Anderson Farms!

This family owned farm has something for everyone. There's the famous corn mazes, acres and acres of mazes ranging from kid friendly beginners' mazes ti ones of great difficulty.

Then, it's time for a ride in a tractor pulled wagon out to 30 acres of pumpkins. And 28 varieties at that! I'd never seen a blue-ish pumpkin before and just had to buy it.

Our youngest daughter, her husband and kids. They make for a pretty sweet photo, don't you think?

Live country music, a kid's play area to beat any other I've seen, a full country market, horse rides, and much more- all for $12 per adult. What a great day- and what a perfect afternoon to get out of town and enjoy the Fall sun!
