Finding illegal Mickeys in Asia is nothing new. Yet, this is the first time I've found an illegal Mickey Mouse in Europe. St. Tropez, France, to be exact. Even in this ritzy town of yachts bigger than most houses, somebody uses the mouse for their own benefit. This drive-by shot was as good as we could get it as traffic was a mess.
No, I haven't forgotten to post a trip report covering our travels through Switzerland and the south of France. real life has gotten in the way, so this will have to do for now.
Let me repeat- Ditch Disney and go overseas and see the real countries found in Epcot's World Showcase. The experience is richer, the landscapes full scale, and the people friendly. Most importantly- these places are authentic and even though they are centuries old, unlike Walt Disney World, they're not stagnant. Also, rooms are reasonably priced, and as with most areas, meals range in expense as well. There are always free concerts and street events to entertain. Take a risk and ditch Disney this year. You'll be glad you did.

I totally think that taking a vacation to Europe is something that people should do, but it's ridiculous how you keep criticizing Disney.
Is taking a vacation to Europe something people should do? HELL YES. Is it something people should compare to Disney World? HELL NO. Nobody is going to "ditch" Disney in favor of Europe because they are so incredibly different that it is downright STUPID to compare the two. One is not a superior vacation destination than the other because THEY ARE TOO DIFFERENT TO COMPARE.
PS Calling Disney World "stagnant" just makes you seem dumb. There are definitely negative adjectives that can be attributed to WDW, but using the word stagnant makes it look like you were searching for a negative adjective and settled on the first one you saw.
Sorry, I do view WDW as stagnant. Even the pretty to look at NFL, which I can't wait to see, shows how long its been since the other parks have been added to. I don't go to WDW for the hotels or recreation or shopping. I do go for the theme parks. Thanks for reading!
