In all of Disneyland, New Orleans Square is the most elegant and refined space to be found. The Imagineers accomplished something that is rarely done in our stateside parks these days and created a land so immersive and convincing. With worldclass and timeless attractions, shops and restaurants, this charming area can be explored for hours- causing a visitor to forget they are actually in a theme park. This sublime and detailed painting is found high above the outside wall of the shop it advertises. (Hence, the difficulty in getting a great photo!) To find it, just exit the restrooms in the Square and look up. In fact, search high and low in this sophisticated little space, and you'll find wonderful design detail everywhere around you.
