The Disneyland Resort expansion project has gone through several incarnations. From Westcot to California Adventure, the suits continued to waffle back and forth until they settled on a budget friendly companion to the original kingdom. More changes are to come- and hopefully soon. Before we see what the final concept is for DCA's entrance, here is some art of one of the first concepts for the park. Take note of the golden spire leftover from Westcot 2.0 and the repeated sun image. In my opinion, neither this concept nor the one executed communicates anything but a discount Disney park.
