For one of the world's most beautiful cities, it is also surprising that Paris can be one of the most grey ones as well. When I took this photo, about 8 years ago, it was with an eye for composition. We were high above it all on the rooftop of a department store, and I couldn't help but take multiple photos from every angle possible. When we returned home from our trip to France, I was shocked by the tones. Yet, in a large size as with my photos from the top towers of Notre-Dame, there was a certain charm that couldn't be overshadowed by the dreary skies. Lots of stories from the City of Lights. If you want to read about our adventures there, check out An American in Paris. Four parts, including yes, a great day at Disneyland Paris.
